Internship ahoy

Well I got my offer for an internship the other day, and it does look very good. The one which they offered me is with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (founded 1848), and it is called "Scientific Freedom, Responsibility, and Law Program Internship Opportunities" (don't ask me why they have a name for their internship). According to the website:
SFR&L has a long-standing commitment to providing opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to experience firsthand how issues at the intersection of science, ethics, and the law are addressed and handled within a policy setting. Interns will work closely with AAAS staff on a variety of projects, helping to prepare proposals, organize meetings, contribute to publications, manage computer databases, obtain resource materials, and participate in on-going research. They will also have the opportunity to attend relevant conferences and meetings in the Washington, D.C. area. Scheduling is flexible, but interns are expected to work at least four days per week, for a minimum of 30 hours. The internships are unpaid, but the Program will accommodate students interested in receiving course credit from their institutions.

I will have a phone interview sometime soon with them. I guess it's probably going to happen though. They are located at 1200 New York Ave Nw, Washington, DC, which is pretty close to where I live, as well as the White House. I may just walk there once it gets warm in DC. It will be really awesome, though, especially since we'll be working with a Congress that is actually sympathetic to science, rather than the Bible. At least all of the committees and things will be Democrat-controlled.
Well that's all I've got for now. I promise once I get up there these entries won't be all copy-paste.
